Here is the progress I made on the sweater during our drive to Florida. It's not really crooked, it's just not hanging right on my model.
It's going to be a tank top, so I'm just about done the front and then I'll pick up stitches in the back and work my way up.
It was wayyyyyy slower going than I anticipated because the seed stitch pattern (what you see on the upper half) takes me forever! It's a knit 1, purl 1 pattern so it's slow going. In any case, I'm happy with how it's coming out. It looks a little huge, but my knitting is staying right on target with my gauge, so whatever, she'll grow into it!
I intend to keep knitting right on through the spring and summer. Usually I'm not so inclined during warmer weather, but there are so many projects I want to tackle, there's no time for breaks!
