A Challenge

Back in February, before I had a blog, my friend Steph was entering a different challenge almost every day in hopes of winning a big prize during the Paper Trey Ink anniversary celebration. She hounded me everyday to enter one, but I never found the time. Plus, I didn't have a blog. But now my kids are back in pre-school and I've been carving out time to make a card or do a scrapbook page in the morning.

There's a website that hosts a layout challenge every week. So, here is my first one (you can click to enlarge)! It's at CPS.

I've had these die cuts for a couple of months now. I liked the colors and I found coordinating self-sticking ribbon.

Then, since I had everything out, I put this one together real quick.
THIS is really why I wanted to start a I'm glad to be gettin' going with it!

Plus, yesterday, my friend Bonnie recognized my blog and gave me a friendship award on her blog! How nice was that??

  1. Hello,
I like your blog!! I can totally relate because I just started a blog myself (a month ago) It's been fun. The best part is receiving sweet notes and thoughts on the things you create with such passion. Love your cards-they are so clean and fresh great colors too. I'm glad you joined the blog world because you have talent to share.

  2. Wow, those center piece accents are so wonderful! What striking cards and great job using that CPS sketch.

  3. The shapes on this card are fabulous! Great job with sketch 105...thanks for playing at CPS this week!

What's on your mind, friend?
